the lion, the witch and the wardrobe

Your probably thinking - WTFISSHEDOING about my blog post title. However it does actually link in with what I'm going to write about, so don't worry.
FIRSTLY, have been totally into 'Little Lion Man' by Mumford & Sons this weekend, has literally been non stop playing, along with some Paolo Nutini as it reminds me of summer and my friends busking in town. I advise you to listen to it and tell me what you think, I love it.
Speaking of lions, it reminded me of one of my favourite books of all time Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. The novel is by C.S Lewis and I have literally loved it ever since I could read (slight exaggeration). I would also quite like this lion to have sleeping next to me in my bed at night, I don't think I would need a pillow or a duvet or even a bed for that matter. I want this as my cuddly pet please.

I don't have anything to write about witches, although I like how they are sterotypically made to look, they look cool. FOR THE WARDROBE: oh my goddddddd! So casually strolling through Oxfam yesterday with the mother and spotted these gigantic light denim flares, they looked funny but were way to unique to let them pass me so I just had to buy them.

Got home and decided to cut them into shorts, (very short ones) and I then frayed the bottom edges with sandpaper so it wasn't too obvious that I had just roughly manually cut them and tried to fray them myself.

They are light denim, with a cute silk detailed waistband, and the back pockets are both different, one with silk sewn on and the other frayed around the edges. I LOVE THEM, such a buy, bagged myself some sortof highwaisted denim shorts for £4.99, and nobody else is going to have them! Major lovvvvvvvvvve for charity shops.
